Welcome to the Aussie Alpine Backyard Ultra - Australia’s first alpine-format backyard ultra, held in the stunning High Country of Falls Creek, Victoria.
This one-of-a-kind endurance event challenges runners to complete a 6.71 km loop every hour, on the hour, at altitude and over rugged terrain. With every loop, you’re not just racing the clock - you're taking on 200 meters of elevation, exposure, and your own limits. The race continues until only one runner remains.
Whether your goal is to conquer a single loop or push through 40, you’ll be part of a tight-knit, supportive community that celebrates every effort - big or small.
