The Aussie Alpine Backyard Ultra is Australia’s only alpine-style backyard ultra, hosted at Falls Creek in the breathtaking Victorian High Country. This endurance race challenges runners to complete a 6.71 km loop every hour, on the hour, at altitude — continuing until only one runner remains. Set against a stunning alpine backdrop, it offers a true test of both physical stamina and mental toughness. With over 210 meters of elevation gain, and a starting altitude of 1560m above sea level, this makes it the toughest backyard ultra in Australia.
